Maplestory.




Urgg, mixed feelings about this game. Here's what I posted on a GBAtemp thread:

Maplestory is one of those games that will love you for a few months, then make you quit, just to return a few years later.

I've had this on-off relationship with the game since beta.

My latest comeback was right after Big Bang, naturally.

Let me tell you, it made things a lot worse. The Resistance completely turned the game to shit.

Every new class after Pirates it seems has been made simply for KS'ing. And Nexon's gotten grubby with the NX. To even survive in this game, you now need at least 2 bil and/or $100 to blow on NX.

So yeah, FixedFlow on El Nido. Level 8X bandit. Not that you'll ever be seeing me play again ;)
 I'm probably not ever returning.

Bahh, that's a lie. I know I'll be back when occupations come out, AKA Chaos patch.

    I remember playing it for a few minutes then not being able to get into as much as others :(

    I've watched buddys play the game, I've never tried it though. It looks like if I started to play it, I would have to play all day, lots of things to do.

    haha, i thought your whole blogsona was based on maplestory. i had a similar thing with ragnarok online, another korean mmorpg, where i played manically and just stopped one day. never went back, though!

    I used to play it years ago... there was a lot of hacking. Eventually I even started hacking. Never learned how to do the vachack properly though.

    Like with most MMOs, it's really only fun if you're playing with friends. I originally got into it with a friend but good things never last.

    I was personally never a fan. My friend played pretty seriously for a few years and then quit but I could just never get into it.

    I used to play this game. It was fun at first but it didnt have enough depth for me to stick around.
